The Gigantamax Meowth Max Battle Day in Pokémon GO is scheduled on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. The event features the debut of Gigantamax Meowth in Pokémon GO via Power Spots. Trainers will be able to battle Gigantamax Meowth in six-star Max Battles.
Gigantamax Meowth Max Battle Day
Trainers will be able to encounter Gigantamax Meowth after completing a Max Battle. It is important to note that Gigantamax Meowth caught from Max Battle encounters will be unable to evolve. In addition, if you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny Gigantamax Meowth.

- Up to four Special Trades for the day.
- From February 14 at 4:00 p.m. to February 15 at 8:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8), the daily Remote Raid limit will increase from 10 to 20.
Furthermore, the following bonuses will be active on February 15, 2026, from 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
- 2× Max Particles from exploring.
- 1/4 Adventuring distance to receive Max Particles.
Gigantamax Meowth Max Battle Timed Research
There will be a Timed Research available, starting on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 6:00 a.m. local time. You can complete the Timed Research to encounter a Dynamax Machop. Dynamax Machamp (the final evolution of Dynamax Machop) is a strong counter against Gigantamax Meowth! However, if you have Gigantamax Machamp, you are better off having it in your Max Battle Party against Gigantamax Meowth.
These tasks will also award Candy and Max Particles to help power up your team.
You can complete the Timed Research until February 15, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. local time.

- You can use the RSVP Planner with Gigantamax Battles to coordinate more easily with other Pokémon GO Trainers.
- Ensure you join a Community Ambassador-hosted event. You will be able to do the max battle with other Trainers. If you check-in to the campfire event on the day of the event, you will get free Max Particles.
