Best Moveset for Zeraora in Pokémon GO

What is the best moveset for Zeraora? The debut of Zeraora in Pokémon GO is imminent. Trainers attending the in-person GO Fest 2026 will be the first to catch Zeraora as a Special Research reward. Every other Trainer will be able to catch this Mythical Pokémon during the Global GO Fest 2026. As Zeraora is a rare Pokémon, you will want to teach it its best attacks.

Zeraora, the Thunderclap Pokémon, is a Generation 7 (Alola) Mythical Electric-type Pokémon in Pokémon GO. Its maximum Combat Power is 3865 CP. Consequently, a hundo Zeraora encountered after completing the Special Research will have 1465 CP. The non-shiny version will be available during the 2026 GO Fest events.

Best Moveset for Zeraora

Zeraora is an Electric-type Pokémon that can learn a few different Electric-type moves or attacks. These are as follows.

  • Fast Attack
    • Spark
    • Volt Switch
  • Charged Attack
    • Discharge
    • Thunder Punch
    • Wild Charge
    • Plasma Fists

These attacks are boosted during Rainy weather conditions in-game.

Looking at the above list, the best moveset for Zeraora is a combination of the ones that fit its type. Therefore, you will want to teach your rare Zeraora Spark as a Fast Attack and Wild Charge as a Charged Attack.

Please note that these are the moves you should teach Zeraora if it does not have its signature Charged Attack, Plasma Fists.

If your Zeraora comes with Plasma Fists as a Charged Attack after catching it, you can teach your rare Zeraora Wild Charge as an additional Charged attack. However, this depends on whether you have enough Zeraora Candy and Stardust.

Zeraora as a Raid Attacker

Since we are still waiting on its debut, we can’t really say how great it is as a Raid Attacker. However, right now, we can say it will be a useful substitute. Zeraora is best used as an attacker against either Flying-type Pokémon or Water-type Pokémon.

It has more attack stats than its defense and HP stats.
