Forever Forward Season: June 2 to September 8, 2026

Forever Forward is the title of the new Season in Pokémon GO. It will start on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local time. It will then continue until Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

During this new Season, Pokémon GO will celebrate its 10th anniversary in July 2026. These will involve the in-person GO Fest at different locations and the Global Pokémon GO Fest.

Forever Forward Pokémon Debuts

The following Pokémon will be making their debut in Pokémon GO during this new Season.

Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y
Zeraora
Mega Skarmory
Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y
Giimighoul Chest Form
Dynamax Electabuzz, which can be evolved into Dynamax Electivire
Dynamax Margikarp, which can be evolved into Dynamax Gyarados
Dynamax Feebas, which can be evolved into Dynamax Milotic

Forever Forward Daily Discoveries

Different days of the week will have a daily experience. These will be active between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. local time unless otherwise stated.

Scenic Sunday: Boosted Pokémon in the wild. More Pokémon will be appearing on Routes. In addition, Incense usage will be boosted on Routes. You will be able to encounter Matteo at the end of 3 different Routes. Your Buddy Pokémon will earn Candy at a reduced distance when exploring Routes with the Buddy Pokémon.
Max Monday: Power Spots will refresh more frequently. Additional Power Spots will be active on Mondays compared to the rest of the week. Max Battles will rotate to feature different Dynamax Pokémon. Max Battles will be available between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. local time. Power Spot availability will be limited outside of Max Mondays and Max Battle Days. In addition, Trainers can now earn one Rare Candy XL for completing in-person Max Battles.
Showcase Tuesdays: PokéStop Showcases will be active on Tuesdays, featuring up to 20 different categories. Trainers can now enter up to 5 Pokémon instead of 3.
GO Battle Thursdays: Trainers will be able to earn up to 4× Stardust from win rewards. (This does not include end-of-set rewards.) The maximum number of sets you can play on a Thursday will increase from five to 10, for a total of 50 battles.
Friendship Fridays: Trainers will be able to do the following
- Up to three Special Trades.
- 20% less Stardust for each trade.
- Increased chance for Lucky Pokémon in trades
- 2 guaranteed Candy XL when trading Pokémon
