Taking place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, this event is shaping up to be a must-play for both veteran meta-chasers and newer trainers alike.
The Zorua Community Day event delivers incredible bonuses, an exclusive move for Zoroark, and special background encounter opportunities that you won’t want to miss.
Zorua Community Day Details and Schedule Overview
- Date: Saturday, October 10, 2026
- Time: 2:00 PM to 5:00 p.m. local time (with extended Lure and bonus features running until 9:00 p.m. local time).
- Featured Pokémon: Zorua will appear much more frequently in the wild, and if you are lucky, you might encounter its Shiny variant or a version featuring a Special Background!
Zorua Community Day Featured Attack
If you evolve your Zorua into Zoroark during the event or up to four hours afterward (by 9:00 p.m. local time), your evolved Pokémon will learn the exclusive Dark-type Fast Attack Sucker Punch.
Sucker Punch is a Fast Attack that deals 8 power in Trainer Battles and 5 power in Gyms and Raids. It is a massive asset for Dark-type attackers, offering high-pressure damage output at a rapid pace. Securing this move without needing an Elite Fast TM later is a priority for anyone looking to build out their PvP or PvE arsenals.
If you enjoy forming competitive teams for the GO Battle League, make sure you secure at least one or two solid Great League IV Zoroark (low Attack, high Defense, and high HP) with this exclusive move. The rank 1 Zoroark for Great League and Ultra League have the following IV spread.
- Great League: 1-15-15
- Ultra League: 1-15-15
Hundo (Shiny) Zoua from Research

The following research tasks may reward Zorua as an encounter after completion.
- Field Research Tasks: Catch 3 Zorua.

Pro Tips to Dominate Zorua Community Day
Maximize Candy with Mega Evolutions: Bring a Dark-type Mega Evolution such as Mega Tyranitar, Mega Houndoom, Mega Gyarados, Mega Absol, Mega Sharpedo, Mega Sableye, or Mega Malamar to at least high or max level. Having it active during catches will net you extra candy bonuses.
Time Your Lures Correctly: Do not activate your Lures before 2:00 PM, as pre-existing lures will only last 30 minutes and block the boosted event spawns until they deplete. Wait for the clock to strike 2:00 p.m. local time.
Clear Field Research Slots: Spin PokéStops during the event for themed tasks, but make sure you have open slots so you don’t miss out on valuable items and encounter rewards.
Prep Your Inventory: Stock up on Ultra Balls, Pinap Berries, and clear out Pokémon storage space ahead of time so you aren’t forced to pause your grind mid-event.
Mark your calendars for October 10, charge up your backup batteries, and get ready to catch every Tricky Fox Pokémon in sight!
