The Super Mega Raid Day comes with the global debut of Mega Chandelure and an entirely new tier of power for the Mega-Evolved Pokémon. If you are looking to prep your team, clear your calendar, and maximize your rewards, here is a complete breakdown of what to expect when the event kicks off.
Mega Chandelure Super Mega Raid Day
Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 31, 2026. The main event will run from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m in your local time. During this three-hour window, Trainers will have a prime opportunity to take on challenging raids, collect exclusive resources, and hunt down shiny variants.
Mega Chandelure Makes its Global Debut
The crown jewel of the event is the arrival of Mega Chandelure, which is making its official Pokémon GO debut in Super Mega Raids. This Ghost- and Fire-type powerhouse is a fan-favorite from the Unova region, and its Mega form promises to be a devastating asset in battle. Better yet, lucky Trainers who complete these raids may encounter a Shiny Chandelure, making this a must-play event for shiny hunters and collectors alike.
Unlock the Exclusive Ominous Wind+ during Mega Chandelure Super Mega Raid Day
Pushing a Pokémon to the Super Max level comes with a massive tactical advantage. As discovered during the recent Mega Finale, Pokémon eligible for the Super Max level can learn an additional Charged Attack while they are Mega Evolved.
For Mega Chandelure, this means gaining access to the powerful Ominous Wind+ move. This move deals 50 power and increases the user’s Attack by one stage in Trainer battles (PvP). In Gyms, Raids, and other battles (PvE) it packs a devastating 145 power.
The raw power of this special attack will scale alongside your Pokémon’s Mega Level, making a fully optimized Mega Chandelure an absolute monster in raid scenarios.
