The April 2026 Hatch Day – Riolu is on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Riolu, the Emanation Pokémon, will hatch much more frequently from the 2 km Eggs received during the event. Likewise, you’ll also have an increased chance of hatching Shiny Riolu.
Fun fact about Riolu
Riolu uses waves called auras to communicate with others of its kind. It does not make any noise during this time, so its enemies can’t detect it.
Riolu is a Fighting-type Pokémon in Pokémon GO. Its maximum Combat Power (CP) stat is 1123 CP. A perfect (hundo) Riolu hatched from Eggs has a maximum of 567 CP. If shiny, that’s a Shundo.
