As part of the effort to keep the Pokémon GO experience updated, the Community Ambassador meetup check-in rewards have just been updated. The update, starting on March 15, 2025, cuts across all the different events in the game. These are for the event meetups a Community Ambassador can host via the Campfire app.
UPDATED: September 9, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. ET.
Every Trainer who joins an eligible Community Ambassador-hosted meetup via Campfire and then check-in at the location of the event will get event-specific research. Doing this grants the Trainer access to the Community Ambassador meetup Check-in Rewards. In addition to this, trainers can check in and get cool gifts from their Community Ambassador. The cool gifts are as follows.
- Special swag (e.g., pins, promo cards with codes, etc.) that is shared through the Community Ambassador.
- promo codes for extra in-game items with a Pokémon GO Web Store purchase.
- thematic Timed Research with different in-game rewards based on the type of event.
Please note that the first two are periodic. Meaning you may not always get them from your Community Ambassador. However, you will get the third when you check-in at a Community Ambassador event. The third is what you will find more details about further below.
