The Final Justice event in Pokémon GO rounds up the Season of Tales of Transformation. During the event, Keldeo’s Resolute Form, and Keldeo’s Shiny will be making their debut in Pokémon GO. Trainers can expect the last part of the Seasonal Special Research story be unlocked at the beginning of this event.
Likewise, every Trainer who have Keldeo can use 50 Keldeo Candy to change Keldeo’s form.
Final Justice event details
The event starts on Tuesday, November 25, at 10:00 a.m. local time. It will continue until Sunday, November 30, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
Resolute Form Keldeo, the Colt Pokémon, will make its Pokémon GO debut! Resolute Form Keldeo will also be able to learn the Charged Attack Secret Sword! Secret Sword is a Fighting-type Charged Attack in Pokémon GO that deals 70 damage in Trainer Battles (i.e., PVP). It costs 35 energy per damage. Furthermore, the Charged Attack deals 120 damage in Gym and Raid Battles (i.e., PVE). However, it costs 50 energy per damage. Secret Sword is super effective against Normal-, Rock-, and Steel-, Ice-, and Dark-type Pokémon.
If you haven’t, you can claim this Seasonal Special Research story up to the end of Tales of Transformation on December 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Once Tales of Transformation ends, Trainers who did not receive the Tales of Transformation Special Research will be able to encounter Keldeo in a new Special Research following the completion of the Finding Your Voice Special Research.
Shiny Keldeo Debut in Pokémon GO
A ticket for “The Pony Tales Masterwork Research” that leads to an encounter with Shiny Keldeo will be made available for purchase in the in-game shop for US$7.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency, plus any applicable taxes and fees) from Tuesday, November 25, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, November 30, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
Masterwork Research is intended to be completed over a long period of time and does not expire, so you can complete it at your own pace!

Additional details about the Final Justice event
- Event bonus: Trainers participating in the event will receive up to two free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs during the event. Likewise, Trainers will have an increased chance of encountering Shiny Hitmonlee, Shiny Hitmonchan, and Shiny Hitmontop!
- Wild Encounters: event-themed Pokémon will be appearing in the wild. You may encounter Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, Hitmontop, and more! Some Trainers might encounter Hisuian Sneasel and Crabrawler. All encounters can be shiny.
- Raids: Machop, Timburr, and Pancham will appear in One-Star Raids. Galarian Farfetch’d, Throh, and Sawk will appear in Three-Star Raids. Different Pokémon will appear in Five-Star Raids and Mega Raids. See November 2025’s Raids.
- Field Research Tasks: Galarian Farfetch’d, Hisuian Lilligant, Throh, and Sawk will be available to encounter when you complete Field Research tasks. Likewise, completing certain Field Research tasks will earn you Keldeo Candy.
- Collection Challenges: Complete the Collection Challenges to receive XP, Stardust, and Premium Battle Passes!
