Munchlax Hatch Day and Bonuses
The Munchlax Hatch Day is on Saturday, August 9, 2025. It starts at 11:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. local time. Munchlax will be available in 2 km Eggs. However, other Pokémon will be available in the wild.
In addition, Trainers participating in the event will enjoy these bonuses during the event.
- 2× Candy from hatching Eggs.
- Increased chance of hatching Shiny Munchlax
- Increased chance of receiving 2 km Eggs from spinning PokéStops.
Timed Research
Event-exclusive Timed Research will be available. Completing it will award Trainers an Incubator and 5,000 XP. Please note that Timed Research expires. The tasks associated with Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. local time.
Paid Timed Research
There will also be an event-themed special research for those who want added experience. This research is available for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). It will grant trainers who bought it access to the event-exclusive Timed Research. Purchasing the ticket will also grant you 2x Hatch Stardust bonus. In addition, the paid Timed Research will challenge you to explore 1 km to earn One Star Piece, Two Super Incubators, and more.
