September 2024 in Pokémon GO

September 2024 in Pokémon GO is the start of another three-month-long Season. The Season titled “Max Out” will run from September 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. local time to December 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. local time. It is also Pokémon GO’s Season 20.

During the Max Out Season, trainers globally will encounter more Pokémon originally discovered in the Galar region. Also, regionally, trainers in the United Kingdom will be able to encounter the Pokémon Stonjourner.

A new Special Research story with branching paths will be available to trainers at the start of the season. The special research story involves trainers partnering up with their chosen Pokémon. Your Postcard Book background will change to celebrate your choice.

Most importantly, Dynamax forms will be making its debut in Pokémon GO. Dynamax Pokémon will be appearing at mysterious new Power Spots around the world on the in-game map. Trainers will need to participate in Max Battles at the Power Spots to be able to catch these Dynamax Pokémon. Trainers will also need to collect the newly discovered Max Particles from Power Spots to be able to successfully battle the Dynamax Pokémon.

Dynamax Bulbasaur, Dynamax Charmander, Dynamax Squirtle, Dynamax Skwovet, and Dynamax Wooloo will be available to battle at the Power Spots.
