Pokémon GO’s Ultra Unlock: Strength of Steel event Tricks

These tricks are what you should do to make the best out of the event.

GO Battle League

If you are planning on getting good Pokémon for the GO Battle League, you should focus on getting a good Alolan Sandshrew, Magnemite, Beldum, Bronzor, Ferroseed, and Togedemaru. Their final evolutions are relevant in the different leagues.

Stardust gain

If you want more Stardust, don’t forget to catch a lot of the wild spawns while using Star Pieces. Also, the event features a 3x Catch Stardust, you should make the most out of this.

XP gain

If you are looking to get more XP, don’t forget to use Lucky Egg when catching Pokémon during this event. Also, concentrate on hitting excellent throws. If successful, that’s at least 8000 XP per catch.

Candy gain

If you are looking for more candy for the event Pokémon (or the Pokémon you have in your Research tasks), make sure you use Pinap Berry when catching them. You can also mega-evolve any of your max-level mega Pokémon that shares a similar type to the Pokémon you want more candy for.

Finally, make sure you catch ’em all. This is the basic requirement to get anything good from this event. If you want something great, then you’ve got to put in extra effort on the tips and tricks you just read.

Most importantly, have fun!
