The Oricorio Catch Mastery event features Oricorio, the Dancing Pokémon, and its regional forms. The event is scheduled for Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time. Trainers have a chance to encounter Oricorio in Field Research, free Timed Research, and paid Timed Research.

Oricorio Catch Mastery Event Details
The other details are as follows.
- Bonus: 2× XP for successfully catching Pokémon with Nice Throws or better; Increased Candy for successfully catching Pokémon with Nice Throws or better; and Increased chance to encounter Shiny Oricorio
- Wild encounters: Hoothoot and Starly will appear more frequently in the wild. They will have an increased chance to be Shiny.
- Field Research Task and encounters: Poké Ball-throwing accuracy Field Research tasks will be available. Completing Field Research tasks leads to encounters with event-themed Pokémon.
- Make 10 Nice Throws for a chance to encounter either Starly or Oricorio (based on your region)
- Make 3 Great Throws in a row for a chance to encounter Oricorio (based on your region)
- Make 7 Great Throws for a chance to encounter either Hoothoot or Oricorio (based on your region)
- Make an Excellent Throw for a chance to encounter Oricorio (based on your region)
- Free Timed Research: a free Timed Research will be available for all Trainers. This research will focus on catching Oricorio. Completing this research will reward XP, Startdust, and more, plus encounters with Oricorio. This is a 10-page-long research focused on Poké Ball-throwing accuracy.
- Paid Timed Research: For US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access event-exclusive Timed Research. Purchasing and completing the paid timed research will reward Trainers with XP, Stardust, and more, plus additional encounters with Oricorio. You will be completing a 10-page-long research focused on Poké Ball-throwing accuracy.
Please note that the Oricorio you encounter will be based on the form of Oricorio that is specific to the region you are in at the time of catching Oricorio.
