The PokéXciting Event in Taipei is getting nearer. The countdown to Pokémon’s monumental 30th-anniversary celebration in Taiwan has officially begun, as the next stop in Southeast Asia!
Taipei in Taiwan has been chosen as the next city to host the event, titled “PokéXciting!”, bringing a massive wave of nostalgia, community gathering, and exclusive in-game and real-world experiences to fans.
If you are planning to hit the streets of Taipei to catch rare spawns, complete field research, and celebrate three decades of catching ’em all, here is everything you need to know about the upcoming event.
PokéXciting Event in Taipei
Scheduled for Saturday, October 10 to Sunday, October 11, 2026, the festivities will transform select areas of the Xinyi District (around Xiangti Boulevard, excluding mountainous regions) into an absolute paradise for Trainers and Pokémon enthusiasts alike.
Each major city stop on the PokéXciting! tour brings unique localized flair, and Taipei is no exception. Here are the highlights you won’t want to miss.

The Debut of PokéXciting! Pikachu (Pink)
One of the most exciting highlights of the PokéXciting event in Taipei is the official debut of PokéXciting! Pikachu (Pink). This unique variant features a distinctive color palette and comes with a special local Location Background, making it an absolute must-have trophy for collectors.
PokéXciting Event in Taipei GO Stamp Rallies
Explore the Xinyi District to collect 3 or more stamps at designated PokéXciting! PokéStops. Completing the stamps lets you earn an encounter with PokéXciting! Pikachu featuring a unique local Location Background, redeem a limited PokéXciting! event sticker at the Taipei City Hall Southeast Plaza Pokémon GO booth (while supplies last), and unlock photo opportunities with a themed digital picture frame.
If you can’t complete it immediately during the October 10–11 weekend, the stamp rally will remain active in Taipei for one month following the start of the event, giving local players and travelers plenty of time to finish collecting.
