Dynamax Sableye Weaknesses and Counters
Sableye is a dual Dark- and Ghost-type Pokémon. It boasts a unique defensive profile with only a single elemental weakness.
As a Dark- and Ghost-type Pokémon, Sableye is only weak to Fairy-type attacks. Thanks to its typing, it is completely immune to Normal-, Fighting-, and Psychic-type moves, making team composition crucial for taking it down efficiently.
Dynamax Battles are not as difficult as Gigantamax Battles. However, coordinating and getting your battle strategy right for Dynamax Battles may be difficult. Also, you need a maximum of 4 Pokémon GO Trainers to defeat a Dynamax Pokémon.
The recommended counters and roles for your Max Battle party include:
Slot 1: Defender / Healer
Dynamax Blissey with Pound (Fast) and Wild Charge (Charged) to help sustain the team through incoming damage.
Dynamax Corviknight or other resilient defensive options that can absorb hits while keeping the energy meter building.
Slots 2 & 3: Primary Attackers
Dynamax or Gigantamax Fairy-type attackers equipped with a Fairy-type Fast Attack and max-level Fairy Max Moves (Max Starfall or G-Max equivalent) to exploit Sableye’s single weakness. Examples of these are Dynamax Hatterene, Dynamac Gardevoir, Dynamax Sylveon, Dynamax Whimsicott, and Gigantamax Grimmsnarl.
(Note: You can only bring one Pokémon per slot).
Recommended Tips for Dynamax Sableye Max Battles
Max Moves: Level up Max Guard and Max Spirit on your tank/healer Pokémon to at least level 2 to ensure team longevity. Prioritize maxing out Max Attack on your primary Fairy-type damage dealers.
Max Energy: Dodge incoming charged attacks during the regular battle phase to rapidly fill up your Max Meter without letting your core attackers faint.
- Battle with Friends: While lower-tier Dynamax battles can be handled solo, coordinating with a small group helps optimize roles for faster clears.
Dynamax Sableye Rewards and Perfect CP
Completing these Max Battles grants you an encounter with Sableye, which has a chance to be Shiny.
Hundo CP (Perfect Encounter): 843 CP (Level 20).
Preparing your battle parties ahead and coordinating with your local community will make all the difference during Dynamax Sableye Max Monday.
By stocking up on Pinap Berries, bringing the right Fairy-type counters, and saving your Max Particles for essential boosts, you’ll be fully equipped to secure a powerful catch—and perhaps even a Shiny or Hundo.
