Tapu Lele is a Legendary Psychic- and Fairy-type Land Spirit Pokémon. It is predominantly available in Pokémon GO via Five-Star Raids. Tapu Lele is moderately weak (1.6x) against Pokémon with Ghost-, Poison- and Steel-type attacks/moves. It is one of the guardian deities of the Alola Region.

The following are the recommended counters you should have in your battle party when participating in Tapu Lele raids.

Using the above-recommended teams will make trainers 2 – 4 Trainers defeat Tapu Lele faster. However, if you do not have these full teams, you can still win. You need to raid with at least 5 other trainers. Ensure you use Pokemon with either Metal Claw/Bullet Punch as a Fast Attack or Shadow Ball/Iron Head as a Charged Attack.

In conclusion, defeating Tapu Lele in raids requires a well-prepared team of strong Steel-type Pokémon. Avoid using Dragon-, Fighting- or Psychic-type Pokémon, as Tapu Lele resists their attacks.
