Welcome to Part 5 of my Pokémon GO weekly stats comparison. Every week of Pokémon GO brings another chance to catch more Pokémon, catch shinies, find those elusive perfect IV Pokémon, win more raids, explore further, increase your Stardust count, and make progress toward your next goals.
For this week’s comparison, we look at two consecutive seven-day periods: Tuesday, September 15 to Monday, September 21, 2026, and Tuesday, September 22 to Monday, September 28, 2026. The goal is simple: see how my gameplay activity changed from one week to the next and identify the areas where the biggest improvements happened.

Pokémon GO Weekly Stats Comparison: Analytical Summary
Massive Boom (Stardust & XP):
Despite minor drops in catching volume (-8.94%) and PokéStop exploration (-19.70%), my resource gains skyrocketed. Stardust saw an astronomical surge of +2,364.38% (jumping from 28k to over 705k), alongside a healthy +23.07% bump in total XP. This indicates targeted gameplay, such as utilizing event bonuses and rewards. In my case, I used the Catch Stardust reward from the Twilight Trails Choose Your Path Timed Research effectively.
Exploration and Movement Efficiency
My physical activity remained remarkably stable. Distance walked ticked up slightly by +2.03% (54.2 km to 55.3 km). Interestingly, even though I visited fewer PokéStops (-19.70%), I managed to achieve high-quality metrics, pointing to a more focused or streamlined route rather than casual wandering.
Trade-off in Raiding and Catching Volume
There was a sharp decrease in raid activity, with wins dropping steeply by -70.00% (from 20 down to 6). Regular catch numbers and shiny encounters also dipped modestly (-8.94% and -25.00%, respectively), suggesting I spent less overall time catching wild spawns and raiding compared to the past week’s stats.
Collector Highlights (Hundos)
Quality triumphed over quantity in hundo stats. Despite catching fewer Pokémon, my Hundo caught increased, improving by +100.00% (from 2 to 4 perfect IV finds), proving that RNG favored your encounters during the Sep 22–28 window.
📈 What the Weekly Stats Comparison Numbers Tell Us
So, was this actually a better Pokémon GO week?
Based on raw stats alone, it’s a mixed bag. Wild catches and PokéStop spins decreased, and raid activity slowed down significantly. However, from a resource and quality perspective, this week was an absolute powerhouse. The massive influx of Stardust and XP, combined with a doubled Hundo rate, proves that playing smarter and focusing on high-yield rewards outweighs mindless grinding.
🎯 Weekly Stats Comparison and Goals for Next Week
Here are the standout percentage improvements from the week:
1. 🥇 Stardust Earned: +2,364.38%
2. 🥈 Hundo Caught: +100.00%
3. 🥉 XP Earned: +23.07%
The question now is whether next week’s numbers can continue this momentum. My goal is to maintain strong resource efficiency while bringing my catch and raid volumes back up.
Looking Ahead to Part 6: With the upcoming event announcements on the horizon, next week’s stats will likely see a rebound on all fronts.
